Wednesday, October 18: “Live Like the Holy Spirit Is Real”
1 Corinthians 14: 18: “I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all.” Lessening or minimizing the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives calls into question not just our charismatic experience, but our entire Christian faith. Any of His acts: consecration, conviction, illumination, revelation, or any of the others, should be evident in our lives. It’s not that each of us should pray in tongues before men as a part of every service, but our prayer lives, for instance, should regularly be inspired by the moving of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8: 26, 27).
