Wednesday, September 25: “Plan for Victory”

Luke 4: 1: “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness.”

The Holy Spirit is given to lead us in following God’s sure will and certain plans. Even when it seems we are being led around in the wilderness, in hunger and temptation, we follow, as Jesus did. What did it lead to? His defeat of the devil, and His continuing God’s plan in the power of the Spirit (v. 14).
