Ecclesiasticus 10: 4:“The government of the earth is in the hands of the Lord, and over it He will raise up the right man for the time.” Everyone’s favorite scripture for Election Day! The thing is, only God can see the right man “for the time.” In His calendar it may be the time for a nation or people to reap the fruit of bad seed sown, and while we see the election of a particular individual as the end of civilization as we know it, God is the One Who actually exalts and abases, Who puts some in office and removes others; for He alone judges what time it is.
